Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Stores Person to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in warehouse operations to contribute to a well-established company known for its dynamic environment and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory and stock levels
- Ensuring the safe handling and storage of materials and products
- Conducting regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
- Collaborating with other departments to fulfil orders and manage stock requirements
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery as required
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Job Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A meticulous approach to work with a strong attention to detail
