Management Accountant
Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UKs leading specialist recruitment partner are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our finance team. If you are recently qualified or part-qualified in CIMA or ACCA and have a strong background in month-end processes, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Processes:
- Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of management accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reporting:
- Produce internal weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Financial Management:
- Support the finance team in maintaining robust financial controls.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Recently qualified or part-qualified in CIMA or ACCA.
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong experience in month-end processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and management accounts preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
