Location: Margate

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, either 05.00 - 13.00 or 08.00 - 16.00 (must have a flexible approach and be available to cover either shift if required)

Duties:

  • Pick and check customer orders in a temperature controlled coldstore, as required ready for distribution.
  • Receiving of product from production then sending to the designated areas of storage or for stock and customer orders.
  • Stock check daily/monthly and rotation of finished goods and all other products.
  • Input accurate information, batch coding packaging/raw materials daily from inbound deliveries and stored in appropriate locations.
  • Ensure all healthy and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Physically fit to work in a fast-moving Coldstore/warehouse environment.
  • Prepares despatch documentation, also maintains, and files inventory records of old and new despatch reports daily.
  • Loading of vehicles/ hauliers in the yard or warehouse despatch areas around the business.
  • Ensure that all areas of the warehouse/Coldstore including outside areas are always kept tidy with the Clean As You Go policy.
  • Stock check and restocking of certain product in various dry goods/cold stores daily due to space requirements needed.

Experience and skills required for this position:

  • Counterbalance licence is required.
  • Previous experience with PPT is desirable.
  • Must be comfortable working in a coldstore environment (PPE supplied).
