The postholder will provide generalist advice, guidance and coaching to managers at all levels of the business via multiple channels such as telephone, email, virtual meetings and face to face.

They will have up to date knowledge of employment law legislation and commercial awareness.

Description

  • Providing expert HR advice to managers and staff
  • Dealing with a variation of ER cases
  • Manage an employee relations caseload; including absence, performance, grievances, conduct and capability varying in complexity.
  • supporting with Restructures and Redundancies
  • Coaching and upskilling
  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting the recruitment process from start to finish
  • Managing employee relations and resolving HR issues
  • Conducting regular HR audits and ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Participating in HR projects and initiatives
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the HR department

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent
  • Previous Public Sector experience would be desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices and legislation
  • Experience in providing HR advice and support to managers and staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in using HR software and systems
