Year 2 Teacher - Margate

Full-Time - MPS- September Start

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Primary Teacher to take on responsibility of a Year 2 Teacher on a Full-time basis for a September start. This role would be on a temporary basis till the end of the academic year but could be extended beyond this and would be open to both ECTs and an experienced Primary Teacher.

The school is a multi-form entry Primary in Margate and is graded GOOD by Ofsted in all areas. The school was observed to have fantastic leadership and wider staff community who strive to ensure all pupils, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, achieve and succeed. Pupils have also been observed to respect and value staff in the school. This school is very accessible via public transport and driving.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in KS1
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS1 and time as a Year 2 Teacher would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UKMust have right to work in the UK
