Year 5 Teacher - Margate

Full-time - MPS-UPS - January 2025

Tradewind are recruiting for an experienced Year 5 Teacher for a Primary School in Margate to start in January. This will be on a full-time basis and will be on a temp-to-perm basis. Interviews will also commence ASAP. On of the key aims will be to help raise standards in Maths and English, and someone with experience teaching Year 5 is preferable.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in Y5
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2 and time as a Year 5 Teacher would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
