Position Overview: We are looking for a Trainee/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their career in quantity surveying, with a clear pathway for progression and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Conducting site visits and measurements.
- Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents.
- Supporting the senior quantity surveyor in managing subcontractor accounts.
- Monitoring project progress and costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Assisting with the preparation of valuations and final accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- For the Assistant role, 1-2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
