Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for customer service? Our client, a well-established & family-owned bowling centre, are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional experience for all customers. In this pivotal role, you will manage a dedicated team while fostering a fun and friendly atmosphere.
This role requires a commitment of 25-30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Rotating schedule, with shifts starting as early as 9am and finishing by 10:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Efficiently operate and maintain EPOS tills, ensuring seamless transaction processing.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions with precision, upholding accuracy in all cash handling procedures.
- Team Leadership: Motivate a small team, providing guidance, and support.
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Maintenance and Cleanliness: Ensure the bowling centre is clean, organised, and ready for a fantastic customer experience.
- Multi-Tasking: Being able to perform multiple tasks at one time is essential for this role, due to the nature of the business especially during busy periods.
Qualifications:
- Proven managerial experience in a retail setting or similar background.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficient with EPOS systems and Excel for sales tracking.
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and team leadership experience.
