Join our Agency Team as a Support Worker in Margate!

About the Role:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced support worker, to support with a 15-year-old young man in Margate on a 1-1 basis.

He currently lives with his father and sister and loves to go out with his friends just like any teenager. Sadly, he lost his mum recently so needs emotional support.  He is a type 1 diabetic and is just learning how to manage his condition and access new activities. You will be required to give her lots of reassurance and guidance with this.

Shifts are four to six hours a day pay rate of £14 an hour.

Shifts Pattern:

We have shifts available Monday to Sunday – 08:00 to 20:00 and 20:00 to 08:00.

What we need from you:

  • Right to work in the UK, with documentation to confirm this
  • At least 3 months of care experience, preferably with experience in supporting individuals with Behaviours that Challenge
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car (preferred)
  • A minimum availability of 24 hours per week
  • Strong communication skills, including regular communication with the office team
