The position of Maintenance Engineer offers a salary between £17.50 and £20.00 per hour, with night shifts from Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 4am.
Candidates should preferably have multi-skilled experience, but those with a mechanical or electrical bias are also welcome to apply.
The role involves assisting with installations and performing reactive and planned maintenance on various machinery, including conveyors and hydraulics.
Essential qualifications include a City & Guilds and/or NVQ3, along with heavy industry experience and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The company is the UK’s largest manufacturer of building products, with significant investment and expansion plans in the near future.

We are looking for a maintenance engineer preferably multi-skilled but are accepting candidates that hold a mechanical or electrical bias. You have the chance to work for the UK’s largest manufacturer of building products with turning over well in excess of £250m annually.

The successful applicant’s roles and responsibilities will include, assisting in any further installations, alongside reactive and planned maintenance on conveyors, loading bays, hydraulics, pneumatics and bespoke machines.

Essential Criteria:

Multi-skilled maintenance engineer or electrical bias 60/40
City & Guilds and/or NVQ3 qualification and 17th/18th Edition preferred.
Heavy industry experience, e.g. quarry.
Ability to work on your own and in a team.
Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred.
