Our client is a leading manufacturing of industrial products. They have recently acquired a new building and are looking to bring in a new member into the engineering team. The ideal candidate is multiskilled iwth strong electrical and mechanical foundations- but engineers from any environment are welcome.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Carry out Mechanical and Electrical fault finding
- Adhere to the PPM schedule and repair machinery following a breakdown
- Work on conveyors, rotating equipment, cutters, sealers, wash tanks, CNC machinery, extrusion machinery, control panels ect
- PLC fault finding and minor adjustments
- Repair and maintain drive train systems, rollers, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatics, some hydraulics, single and 3-phase systems, invertors, servo motors, AC motors, sensors, control systems, ect.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Have a recognised engineering qualification or be a time-served engineer
- Hold an 18th Edition or an electrical qualification
Desirable:
- Experience on glass or CNC Machinery
- Experience working on Reverse Osmosis water treatment
- Basic automation/ robotics experience
