As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and help drive our success in this exciting industry.

Role Overview:

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team, managing maintenance activities, and ensuring that all machinery and systems are operating at optimal levels. You will play a key role in improving plant performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will ensure the timely delivery of projects and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee and manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor and control engineering budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all engineering operations.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the introduction of new products and processes.
  • Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in engineering, maintenance, and process improvement within a fast-paced production setting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar).
