Zest Education are actively recruiting a Music teacher for a Secondary school we work closely with in the Staffordshire area. Do you have a passion for Music? Have you got experience working within a school setting?

Zest Education are looking to recruit a qualified Music teacher on behalf of a school in the Market Drayton area of Staffordshire. The ability to work across all Key Stages is essential, with a desire to work alongside the music department with the running of recitals and practices during and after school. The position is to commence November 2024 in an ongoing position.

The schools main focus is on academic excellence, enabling pupils to succeed and thrive. The central location of the school makes it easily accessible by public transport however, there is also a secure car park for those that need it .

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification having been awarded a QTS or QTLS
  • A great passion for teaching Music and quality subject knowledge across all secondary key stages.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • A creative mindset with the ability to adapt lessons as and when needed

Rate of pay is dependent on experience.

This role will be open to Early careers teachers (ECT) as well as experienced teachers.
