EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER REQUIRED IN MARKET DRAYTON, SHROPSHIRE!!

Are you an experienced Production Team Leader who has previous experience from within the Food Manufacturing industry and are you seeking a new role?! If so get in touch today as we have a permanent vacancy available to start ASAP.

We are looking for a Production Team Leader to work a permanent morning shift (6.00am - 2.00pm) Monday to Friday (39 hours per week), the starting salary is paying up to £33,000 per annum (DOE).

Previous experience from within the Food Manufacturing industry is required.

We are looking for a Team Leader who has got the hands on management experience, but is also computer literate and is competent using Microsoft Packages and an MRP system.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Production Operatives to achieve and exceed operational targets.
  • Ensure adherence to production plans, KPIs, and cost control measures, including waste and labour cost management.
  • Uphold and improve standards relating to food safety, health and safety, and quality, in line with company procedures.
  • Manage HR/people matters in collaboration with HR/Production Manager, including disciplinary and grievance cases, absence reviews, and ER-related matters.
  • Foster a development culture by supporting staff induction, training, appraisals, and development reviews.
  • Promote and implement innovative solutions to maximise efficiency and foster a continuous improvement approach.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in a team leader/managerial role, ideally within the manufacturing industry, specifically food manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with management and staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong numerical and organisational abilities.
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft packages, with willingness to train in MRP platforms.
  • Leadership/Management training or qualifications are desirable but not essential.
