We are looking for a Engineering Shift Manager to support the day to day running and control of all Maintenance Engineers and all related activities that ensure the Maintenance Team are doing everything possible to keep the site running as effectively and efficiently as possible. This role is a key part of the management and maintenance structure within the business. As Engineering Shift Manager will be working closely with your team of engineers and other departments within the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all Maintenance activities are completed by the team in a safe and timely manner
  • Supporting Maintenance Engineers with any issues they may have
  • Clear communication via verbal, email and CMMS to team about maintenance issues
  • Bridging the gap between departments to ensure the site works harmoniously together
  • Supporting training and development within the team
  • Good communication and updating the team on KPI's ensuring they are hit
  • Ensuring H&S isn't compromised in any way

What you will need:

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent to NVQ3
  • Experienced Maintenance background with leadership experience
  • a background within an FMCG/Food or fast paced manufacturing background
