Butler Rose is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior / Semi-Senior to join a reputable and growing accountancy firm based in Market Harborough. This is an excellent role for an ambitious audit professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and dynamic team.

The Role

The client is seeking a dedicated Audit Senior / Semi-Senior to assist in the delivery of high-quality audit and accounting services. You will work with a diverse range of clients, leading audit assignments, supporting junior team members, and ensuring the smooth execution of audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading audit assignments and overseeing fieldwork
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Drafting corporation tax computations
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of management accounts
  • Processing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Liaising with clients and maintaining strong professional relationships
Key Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified/part-qualified, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in audit and accounts preparation within an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
