Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to oversee the installation and maintenance of compressed air and fluid pipework systems within various commercial workshop environments. This role is crucial for ensuring that both air and oil systems are compliant with existing industry standards and involves active participation in a variety of projects, including the installation of lifts, brake testing systems, and workshop pits. Core Responsibilities:
- Execute the installation of compressed air and fluid pipework across diverse commercial settings.
- Maintain air and oil systems to meet stringent regulatory standards.
- Set up compressors and related machinery.
- Perform detailed site evaluations to assist in crafting accurate project quotes.
- Engage in varied installation projects, such as setting up workshop lifts and brake testing systems.
- Interpret and utilize technical drawings effectively.
- Show a willingness to acquire new skills and tackle various tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance operational procedures and establish industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with installations of compressed air and fluid pipework.
- In-depth understanding of regulations pertaining to air and oil systems.
- Capable of operating both independently and within a team framework.
- Must possess a full UK driving licence.
- IPAF certification or willingness to undergo training.
- Prepared to undertake regular travel and manage overnight stays as needed.
