Our client is a leading low-volume manufacturer based in Market Harborough who is looking to add a quality engineer to the team. After a period of growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced quality engineer who can assist with the compliance of their manufacturing on-site.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the company's adherence to manufacturing standards
  • Conducting audits
  • Maintaining Quality ISO (9001 and 14001/45001)standrads
  • Using Quality Management Systems
  • Creating, Managing and Storing the records and procedures related to new customers and processes
  • Occasional site visits
  • INvestigating non-conformance reports
  • Developing and implementing technical procedures
  • Ensuring -external contractor recommendation reports such as UKCA/CE are implemented

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Full right to work in the UK without limitation
  • Experience in a heavier/ low volume manufacturing environment
  • Technical dgeree or time-served as a Quality Engineer
  • Technically minded- with great communication skills both written and spoken
  • Any qualificstions relating to auditing or mechanical engineering would be beneficial
