Location: South Leicestershire
Salary: 16 - 18 per hour
Job Type: Permanent
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Overtime: Available and paid at a premium rate
Engineering @ 365 is recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join their team based in South Leicestershire on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ qualification and have experience in joinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and assemble wooden components and structures with precision.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate work.
- Operate various joinery machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure high-quality finishes on all projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- NVQ qualification in joinery or a related field.
- Proven experience as a bench hand joiner.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficient in using joinery tools and machinery.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
