Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for an exciting role in an ambitious lab equipment company where you will be given flexible working hours and the opportunity to join a thriving, growing business?

Established for more than 25 years, this company has built themselves a stellar reputation as a provider of Thermal Systems and Furnaces to Laboratories and other research facilities. Over the last few years, they have joined forces with four other companies in an effort to become a one-stop shop provider for all lab equipment globally.

In this site-based role, you will be working closely with the Senior Design Engineer on a variety of products, often a new design each day, creating electrical wiring drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will work closely with the commercial team to provide technical input and create detailed specification sheets for custom-made furnaces. This varied role is Monday to Friday, with flexible working between 7:30am and 5pm, and would see you travelling internationally to personally assist clients 1-2 times per month.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer, with a background in the Thermal Systems or similar research equipment, looking for a varied role in a growing and ambitious company offering flexible working and the opportunity to travel worldwide.

The Role:

  • Technical Lead for Thermal product design and manufacturing.
  • Creating electrical drawings.
  • Monday to Friday, flexible working between 7:30am and 5pm.
  • UK-Wide Travel, Worldwide Travel.

The Person:

  • Electrical Design Engineer.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Background working on complex electrical equipment/systems.
  • Commutable to Market Harborough.
