Senior Care Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Carer to join our team at a reputable care home in the Market Harborough. This position specifically entails working Night shifts from 7.00 to 7.00pm - 7.00am (3x shifts 1 week, 4 x shifts the next to include alternate weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality are and support to residents during night shifts
• Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Administer medication accurately and maintain detailed records
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the appropriate Healthcare Professionals
• Promote independence and dignity among residents
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of experience as a senior carer in a care home is required
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring and empathetic nature, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Flexibility to work night shifts on a regular basis

Shift Pattern:

Day Shifts - 7.00pm am- 07.00am
