This Creative Lead role offers the chance to join a dynamic marketing team that operates as an internal agency within the organisation. It's a fantastic opportunity for a highly creative and strategic professional to take the lead in developing and executing impactful design concepts, mentor a talented team of designers, and deliver exceptional creative solutions that enhance the brand and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership:
    • Develop and oversee the conceptualization and execution of creative projects, ensuring designs align with the company's brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
    • Inspire and drive innovation within the team, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Team Mentorship and Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of two designers, providing guidance, constructive feedback, and fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
    • Assign and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Hands-On Design Work:
    • Actively contribute to design projects, from initial concept development to final execution, across a variety of mediums including print, digital, packaging, and multimedia.
    • Design visually stunning assets such as brochures, presentations, advertising materials, social media content, and product visuals.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and sales, to understand business needs and translate them into effective creative solutions.
    • Present concepts and ideas to stakeholders, confidently articulating design rationale and strategy.
  • Project Management and Reporting:
    • Oversee the end-to-end creative process, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
    • Report on project performance, team achievements, and design insights to senior management, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Designer, Creative Designer, or similar role in a fast-paced in-house or agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work across multiple platforms.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with video editing or motion graphics is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and inspiring creative teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience working within a B2B manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage but not essential.
