Aspire People are currently recruiting a SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) based in Market Harborough and surrounding areas.We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive team in Wollaton, working with children in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and KS1 (Key Stage 1). This is a full-time position with an immediate start, running until the end of the academic year.Key Responsibilities:* Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).* Work closely with support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.* Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and implement strategies to support the progress and development of students.* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.* Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as necessary.Requirements:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within EYFS or KS1.* A strong understanding of early childhood development and special education practices.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Desirable:* Additional qualifications or training in SEN.* Previous experience in a similar role.Why Join Us?* Competitive salary based on experience.* Long-term contract with the option of extending or "as and when"* Developing social and cognitive development* Opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence* Willing to undertake a DBS through Aspire People or be on the update service* Unlock up to £250 referral fee for each recommendation to Aspire PeopleIf you feel this position is for you, please apply above and I will be in touch.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
