You will be employed as a Delivery Driver and Store Supervisor. This is a full time position that offers a competitive salary, flexible working hours, pension, company work wear, ongoing training and the opportunity to progress in an ever growing business.
This role is an important customer facing role within a customer focused business. It is important that the successful applicant is a driven person who thrives on dealing with people on a day to day basis.
The role involves;
- Start times from 05:00 am - 07:00 am depending on runs each day
- Delivering goods to farms
- Managing goods in, stock control, monthly reporting of stock position.
- Order picking and van loading
- Use of forklift truck
- Performing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring van is cleaned regularly and kept presentable
- using the computer on site to create picking lists and route plan
- Be trusted with sensitive data such as gate codes to access farms and properties for early hour access.
- Build relationships and get to know the customers
The requirements for the role are;
- Valid Uk driving licence with no major endorsements
- Personal transport
- Basic IT skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Friendly approachable personaility
- Problem solver
- Physically able to manual handle
- 'can do' attitude.
The salary will be between £26k - £30k, and is negotiable depending on experience. Additionally to this you will receive holiday pay, pension and on going training.
