- Train staff on disease control and elimination.
- Conduct daily farm walks and attend weekly planning meetings.
- Ensure all growing operations are completed on time.
- Optimize yield potential through climate control and fertigation strategies.
- Monitor crops for pests and diseases and take preventive actions.
- Enforce health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Support harvesting supervisors during peak periods.
- Report KPI figures in monthly meetings.
- Continuously improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Oversee the growing team and ensure efficient crop production.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in crop production, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyse and optimize growing conditions.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food safety regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- IT proficiency, including MS Office.
- Enthusiastic and motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and peak periods.
