Payroll Officer

Payroll Officer required to join the Finance Team in a well-established business in Market Weighton, in the North Yorkshire / East Yorkshire area. 

A new position has been created for someone to join and look after the payroll for around 400 employees working in several locations in Yorkshire for this well regarded organisation. Any experience of payroll gained in a finance assistant, accounts assistant or payroll administrator position would be highly beneficial.

This will be a fast-paced, busy position working in the finance team with the finance manager and purchase ledger clerk. 

Duties will include all aspects of payroll, including:

- finalising payroll and production of wage slips

- calculations of holiday pay

- reconciling loans, pensions, PAYE etc

- monitoring working time regulations

- processing new starters, leavers, P45/46, P60s

- calculating SSP, SMP, SAP and SPP
