Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2 Yard Operative/Forklift Drivers for one of our clients based between Kelvedon and Colchester.
Main purpose of the role is to operate the forklift truck to load and unload all vehicles, working in a safe environment at all times and contribute to achieve the company's monthly and yearly financial business objectives.
Responsibilities
All loads to be moved and stored in a safe way, avoiding any damages or breakages
Maintain high standards of the stock storage, layout, rotation, preservation and display for easy access and display in line with agreed standards of the Company
Report all breakages promptly to the Imports
Maintain in good order stock fixtures, fittings and equipment; report any damage to the Operations Manager and agree how to remedy
Deliver excellent customer service to external and internal customers, and meet customer requirements
Prepare and load stock for delivery to customers to maximise use of space and prevent damage
Liaise with the Imports and Stock Controller to resolve any quality issues
Skills and Experience
- Excellent work ethic
- at least 1 years experience working on a forklift
- strong health and safety skills

- Bonus scheme up to 15%, annual salary, based on achieving turnover and personal performance.
Hours are Monday to Friday 40 hour week with a salary of up to 26,000 depending on experience.
