Robert Half are working in partnership with a highly regarded, renowned organisation in Marlborough to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to have full responsibility of the accounts payable process and will be pivotal member of the finance team. The Accounts Assistant role will be suitable for an experienced individual that is looking for a new challenge and is passionate about owning the accounts payable process, whilst being a part of an organisation that is renowned for offering a great work environment. The salary is between £25,000 - £30,000 plus a number of excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Accounts Assistant role will consist of:

  • Processing invoices and expense claims.
  • Processing payment runs on a weekly basis.
  • Statement reconciliations.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Liaising with suppliers and dealing with queries.
  • Processing credit notes.
  • Maintaining petty cash.

Requirements

To be considered for the role Accounts Assistant role, you must ideally have the following skills/attributes:

  • Must have experience within accounts payable/purchase ledger.
  • Qualified by experience or AAT qualified will be considered.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confident user of Excel; pivot tables and lookups
  • Good team player
