Location: Marlborough
Hours: 40 hours per week (Shift Times: 07:00 am - 6:00 pm),
ALTERNATE WEEKENDS OFF DUTY

The Role:
 
As a Chef, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents through nutritious, delicious meals. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing high-quality meals tailored to residents' needs and preferences.
  • Supporting the chef manager in overseeing the catering team and daily kitchen operations.
  • Assisting in menu planning to ensure a variety of balanced and appetizing dishes.
  • Promoting and maintaining food hygiene and safety standards, including conducting risk assessments.
  • Taking charge of the kitchen and staff in the absence of the Chef Manager.
About You:
 
We're looking for an experienced, proactive, and passionate chef who thrives in a people-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A friendly, approachable demeanour, comfortable interacting with residents, their families, and guests.
  • Proven experience as a chef within a catering or hospitality setting.
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • A passion for producing high-quality, nutritious food.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with strong initiative and leadership skills.
  • City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry.
