What You'll Do:As a Legal Secretary, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Document Management: Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Client Interaction: Communicating with clients and stakeholders, scheduling appointments, and managing inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Administrative Support: Maintaining accurate filing systems, organising case files, and assisting with billing and invoicing.
  • Research Assistance: Conducting legal research and compiling information to support case preparation.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.

What We're Looking For:We seek a motivated individual who possesses:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should be articulate, both written and verbal, with a knack for building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong Organisational Abilities: Your attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks will keep our team running smoothly.
  • Proficiency in Technology: Familiarity with legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and general office equipment is a must!
  • Legal Knowledge: Previous experience in a law firm or legal background is preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is key!
