Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of assembly operatives, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and quality.
Oversee the assembly of lighting products, ensuring products meet the required specifications and standards.
Manage daily production schedules and allocate tasks to team members based on priorities and workload.
Monitor and improve production processes, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Ensure team members are trained and have the necessary resources and skills to perform their tasks.
Motivate and engage the team to ensure high levels of morale and performance.
Assist with stock management and inventory control in the production area.
Report on team performance, production progress, and any issues to senior management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a production or assembly environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product assembly.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a hands-on approach to leadership.
Ability to train and develop a team to meet performance targets.
A positive attitude and the ability to motivate others.
