Main Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:
- Manage the behaviour of students to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Act as a role model and foster positive relationships with students and staff, especially if you're a History Graduate helping students connect with history
- Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of regular teachers
- Quickly establish rapport with students to support their learning, particularly in history-related subjects
Ideal Cover Supervisor will have:
- A degree in History (or any related subject) - perfect for a History Graduate
- Previous experience working with young people
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for supporting students in their educational journey as a History Graduate
