Although a young company, it has seen significant headcount acceleration across Europe in the last 10 years and continues on a trajectory of growth and winning business. The small finance team have regular contact with the CFO and Board due to the current interest of PE backing groups. A team of "doers", who muck in to help one another as needed. Exceptional working conditions wtih fewer office days, more at home.Your new roleA new role - Group Management Accountant who will oversee the consolidation of the accounts.

  • Management Accounts + Consolidation for foreign entities
  • Analysis of financial performance + commentary
  • Generate integrated P+L group statements
  • Implement controls as necessary
  • Banking
  • Coordinate with Finance teams internationally.
  • Line manage juniors in international locations. Development of them and review accordingly.
  • Improvement of systems and processes for optimisation
  • Due Diligence of acquisition targets
  • Analyst financials for risk assessment and make recommendations

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with significant, relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing management accounts and financial consolidation.
  • Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Desire and aptitude to improve processes, systems and deliver on accounting goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in team leadership or management is advantageous.
  • Experience of working with a PE backed company.
  • Acquisitions experience is desirable, incl Due Diligence.
  • Forecasting / modelling experience is desirable.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is helpful
  • Previous experience in a group or multi-national company environment is sought after
