Position: Band 6 Physiotherapist
Location: Marlow and Thame
Start Date: ASAP, with a contract lasting until January 2025 (possibility for extension)
Pay Rates: £21 - £23 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours, part-time considered, any day Monday-Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy services to older adults, particularly in the community setting.
- Manage a caseload of elderly patients with a focus on orthopaedics, falls prevention, and rehabilitation.
- Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy interventions to meet the needs of patients, enhancing their mobility and quality of life.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to professional and legal standards.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP).
- A minimum of 2 years' post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in managing a caseload of older people.
- Experience working within a community setting.
- Relevant up-to-date clinical training, especially related to elderly care, orthopaedics, and falls management.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice in falls prevention and elderly care.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
