Location: Marlow and Thame

Start Date: ASAP, with a contract lasting until January 2025 (possibility for extension)

Pay Rates: £21 - £23 per hour

Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours, part-time considered, any day Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy services to older adults, particularly in the community setting.
  • Manage a caseload of elderly patients with a focus on orthopaedics, falls prevention, and rehabilitation.
  • Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy interventions to meet the needs of patients, enhancing their mobility and quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to professional and legal standards.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • BSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP).
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in managing a caseload of older people.
  • Experience working within a community setting.
  • Relevant up-to-date clinical training, especially related to elderly care, orthopaedics, and falls management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice in falls prevention and elderly care.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
