The Accounts Payable Clerk position is a temporary to permanent role based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, offering a salary between £21ph and £25ph through an umbrella company.
The successful candidate should have experience in processing invoices, ideally using Sage and Eque2, and possess strong Excel skills.
This role involves day-to-day finance transaction processing, including entering purchase ledger invoices and reconciling supplier statements.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Experience in this field is required, although specific experience with Eque2 and Sage 50 is desirable but not essential.

Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary to Permanent - £21ph- £25ph (Umbrella company) - Marlow, Buckinghamshire (5 days in the office)

FryerMiles is working exclusively with a leading SME construction company to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary to permanent basis, this is a great opportunity for an experienced hands on Accounts Payable Clerk. The organisation is experiencing strong growth. Reported to the Financial Controller and working in a small team, you will be responsible for all day to day processing of finance transactions.

Within this position you must have experience in processing invoices, ideally on Sage & Eque2. This role is working within a fast-paced and dynamic business that has plans to grow significantly in the coming year whilst offering a clear path for progression for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

Enter purchase ledger invoices onto Sage & Eque2.
Posting of Purchase invoices.
Ensuring that any unallocated items are investigated proficiently and quickly.
Reconcile Supplier statements.
Complete a weekly payment run.
Carry out CIS returns
Reconciling bank statements.
Answering supplier queries in a timely manner.
Other finance tasks as required
Processing of Sub-Contractor payment applications and accounting for Retention.
Experience using Eque2 and Sage 50 desirable but not essential.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will need to have experience with Excel and have knowledge of bank payments, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate initiative. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and be keen and eager to learn and develop.
