Parts Department Advisor

Location: Marlow, SL7 2NJ

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum

The Role

Our client is currently seeking to fill a vacancy in their Parts Department.

The applicant will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of their parts and accessory department. If you have excellent organisational skills, a minimum level 2 IMI qualification in mechanical engineering, strong phone etiquette, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, they would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist internal and external customers with enquiries related to parts and accessories
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient
  • Process orders
  • Provide product recommendations and assist with product selection
  • Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth department operations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Have knowledge of the workings of the Petrol and Diesel internal combustion engine to a minimum of IMI level 2
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Proficient in using most Microsoft PC features and apps or similar software for data entry and inventory management
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, both in-person and over the phone
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
