Electrical Estimator

Our Client are a growing electrical contractor company offering a comprehensive range of electrical services, including commercial and industrial fit-outs, design and build projects, EICR testing, and remedial works.

They are a dynamic and forward-thinking team committed to delivering excellence in every project we undertake.

They are currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Electrical Estimator to join their team based in our Marlow head office. This role is integral to our growth, and they are looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into our operations, take the lead on estimating tasks, and manage quotations and tenders of varying size and value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Contract and Supply Chain Management. Leading the supply chain and pre-contract negotiations.
• Lead and manage electrical bids and tenders from inception to submission. Producing competitive tender documents.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
• Work closely with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
• Review and analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed estimates.
• Utilise your experience to determine the type, quality, and cost of materials required for each project.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in tendering and pricing, with a strong background of software packages.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to commute to project sites within a 50-mile radius of Marlow.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
