Our fantastic client are looking for a fantastic Project & Events Manager to join their Projects team. The client works within the media publishing sector who support the development of professionals. You will be passionate about event delivery with an ambition to play an integral role in shaping this dynamic business. If you have experience within medical communications, events or publishing this would be a great opportunity for you.

This is a hybrid role working in the Marlow office 1/2 days per week. The salary for the Project & Events Manager role is up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Main responsibilities for the Project & Events Manager:

  • Delivery of medical promotional projects, events and educational programmes from inception through to publication.
  • Organisation and management of educational content creation, including but not exclusive to: interviews, webinars, symposia, round tables and peer-to-peer discussions (filmed virtually and on-site)
  • Planning and executing publishing projects to ensure they deliver the highest quality content within scope, brief and budget.
  • Internal stakeholder management throughout the delivery phase - including, but not exclusive to, account managers, medical writers, and Marketing, Education, and Audio-Visual teams - to ensure the creation of best-in-class content.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Client management throughout the delivery cycle, to ensure transparency and adherence to project plans and operating procedures
  • To work with the Scientific Director, where required, for programme development and adherence to educational objectives.

Skills required for the Project & Events Manager:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience working as a Project Manager or events professional with a medical communications, events, publishing or agency background.
  • First-class non-technical project management skills with a proven track record of delivering a number of projects of varying complexity across the health education sector.
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Adept at developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and work on several complex client projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Self motivated and able to work without detailed supervision.
  • A 'team player’ mindset.
