Assistant Finance Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team of international finance professionals. This role is crucial for leveraging the benefits of our upcoming SAP ByDesign implementation and streamlining operations to enhance support to the business. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Finance Director and play a key role in supporting group-wide activities.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Partner with the ESG team to support the fast-growing area of sustainability.
  • Take ownership of Group-wide reporting, including the development of a reporting suite and providing commentary on monthly commercial performance.
  • Assist the Group Finance Director in identifying and leveraging SAP’s benefits across the business.
  • Support the writing of finance policies to ensure a strong control framework.
  • Contribute to the Group’s planning process across divisional and country teams.
  • Manage the Group’s transfer pricing policy and process.
  • Assist in the audit process, liaising with auditors in the UK, Germany, and the US.
  • Provide analysis on competitor performance and industry analysis to support the Group’s strategic plan.
  • Offer ad-hoc support to the Group Finance Director, gaining exposure to new learning and developmental opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in management accounting (FP&A, Planning, Reporting, Forecasting)
  • Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and transfer pricing policies.
  • Ability to partner with various teams and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and business partnering abilities.
  • Ability to work full-time at the global HQ in Marlow with no remote option.
