Kenneth Brian Associates are excited to be partnered with an Tech based business, backed by a pioneering venture capital firm, to secure an Interim Finance Director. Based in Marlow, the role offers a day rate between £500-£600 per day.

The Role

As Interim Finance Director, you will:

  • Build and enhance robust finance processes to support the company's growth trajectory.
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax filings, and external auditor relationships.
  • Implement scalable controls and financial procedures to align with a rapidly expanding business.
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and reporting, ensuring liquidity and financial health.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting the executive team with strategic financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain the integrity of financial reports.
  • Oversee monthly close processes and internal management reporting.
  • Work on ad hoc financial projects tied to the company's growth and long-term goals.

You will ideally have:

  • A formal accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, CA).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader, ideally within a high-growth business.
  • Exceptional skills in building and optimising financial controls in a fast-paced, disruptive environment.
  • The ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including investors and external advisor's.
  • Strong leadership skills and the capacity to drive finance strategy in line with business goals.
