This role is working for a lovely business based in Marlow. The company are in need of a strong Sales Administrator to join their team. The overall purpose of the role is to support the administration, sales, and customer services area to ensure customer satisfaction.

The salary on offer is up to £26,000. The perfect candidate could have some experience in an office environment, however, this role is also perfect and open to graduates, as training will training will be provided!!!

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answering all incoming customer telephone enquiries, including pricing, lead times, quotation enquiries etc.
  • Monitoring the general sales inbox in a timely and organised manner.
  • Creating quotes and estimating lead times for orders
  • Accurately uploading and importing special order items where required.
  • Creating commercial invoices for orders going outside the UK.
  • Checking portals daily to ensure any delivery issues are addressed and resolved.
  • Taking cash payments and updating price lists as required.
  • Providing admin support to the external sales team.
  • Managing the internal drivers’ diaries alongside project coordinators.
  • Supporting the accounts team with invoice queries, proof of deliveries and billing related issues.
  • Updating monthly forecasts, ensuring dispatch dates are in line with customer requests and expected goods receival dates.
  • Utilising logistics and ERP systems.
  • Working towards achieving commission based KPI’s.

Skills required for the role

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
  • A professional approach and manner.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Good level of numeracy.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Ambitious and willing to learn and grow within the role.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office is desired
  • Experience with ERP Systems - Netsuite, PDQ Machines and shipping portal websites are desired
  • Experience with Autodesk is desired.
  • 2 years previous administration work, in construction industry is a bonus.
