A well known organisation in the Defence sector is seeking a Subcontract Buyer in Marlow for an 8-month contract.
This Subcontract Buyer role in Marlow, requires expertise in procurement and supply chain management, specifically within the defence or aerospace industries. The ideal start is as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing sub-contracts and ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations
- Overseeing the procurement process from requisition to purchase order
- Executing flowdowns and contract terms, including FARS & DFARS
- Implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues
- Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance and procurement metrics
Key Skills:
- Proven sub-contract or purchasing experience within the defence or aerospace sectors
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and SAP/MRP systems
- Experience with SOTIF and SDPPM
- Familiarity with FARS & DFARS regulations
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
