Immediate Start

Our client, a small yet highly successful company based in Marlow, is looking for a Finance & Operations Assistant to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The role will support finance and operations by assisting the Finance Manager with accounting tasks and helping the Operations Manager with order processing and logistics admin.

The successful candidate will have experience in finance, excellent attention to detail, good Excel and be a natural problem solver.

The role is Monday to Friday office based, 5 hours per day, potentially 9.30 - 2.30, 10 - 3 but hours are flexible. Temping for 3-4 weeks.

£28k if full time.

Duties include

  • Validating and accurately processing purchase invoices including expenses
  • Generating and processing sales invoices and credit notes
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with processing orders and returns
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with logistics admin daily
  • Managing emails responding to suppliers and customers in a professional manner

Skills/Experience

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in finance role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding of IT systems to include Sage 50 / 200
  • Understanding of financial reports and business metrics
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
