This is an excellent opportunity for a Paint Technician to join an amazing company growing within their industry.

As the next Paint Technician your day will consist of:

  • Prepare and apply paint coatings on components and structures using spray guns and other specialized equipment.
  • Ensure high-quality finishes, adhering to strict industry standards and specific specifications.
  • Inspect surfaces for cleanliness, smoothness, and defects before and after painting.
  • Mix paints, primers, and other coatings to achieve desired colours, finishes, and consistency.
  • Mask and protect areas not to be painted, including precision parts and sensitive equipment.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings to meet specific project requirements.
  • Maintain spray booths, equipment, and tools in good working order, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

The Paint Technician Should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in paint spraying within the aviation, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver precision work in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the use of paint spray guns, pressure pots, and other paint application tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with various paint types (e.g., epoxy, polyurethane) and their proper application methods.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures, including the handling of chemicals and use of PPE.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
