Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a skilled Technical Author to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity involves working on an electronic warfare programme, specifically focusing on technical publication projects within the defence industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce comprehensive technical publications for an electronic warfare programme
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to gather required information
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in all technical documentation
- Manage and deliver work packages within specified timeframes
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in technical authoring, with experience in the defence sector highly preferred
- Strong understanding of technical publications and documentation processes
- Ability to condense complex information into clear and concise manuals
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage and deliver large-scale documentation projects
- Security Cleared (SC)
