CNC Machinist
Interesting and varied Toolroom machinist's role with this respected special purpose machinery manufacturer.
You should have a good cross section of CNC Machining experience to include Milling, turning, (Siemens and Fanuc controls) and ideally grinding.
The role will involve prototype and small batch machining of parts and creating jigs and fixtures.
Any offline CAD/CAM experience will also be an advantage (PowerMill exp beneficial but can cross train). You will perform inspection of parts and general basic upkeep of the machines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist in a toolroom setting
- Proficiency in operating 3, 4, and 5 axis machines
- Experience with programming CNC machines is desirable
- Familiarity with CAD CAM systems
- Knowledge of all or some of the systems- Siemens, Fanuc, Delcam Power Mill, or Faroarm systems ideally
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

40 hours a week
Open from 7 am to 5.30, so flexible on start and OT available
OT available on Saturday and Sunday
£15- £18 PHR
