Long - Term Teachers are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join a brand new specialist school in the new year. This role is essential in fostering a constructive and dynamic learning environment, aiding the delivery of high-quality education across various subjects. The successful candidate will support our teaching staff in creating engaging and inclusive educational experiences that encourage student participation and learning.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting teachers in the preparation and delivery of daily lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Supporting the assessment of student progress, marking assignments, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Facilitating small group sessions and one-to-one support for students requiring extra help.
  • Participating in school meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Ensuring classroom environments are safe and conducive to learning.
  • Maintaining records of students' progress and behaviour.
  • Contributing to the creation of a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

You will be contracted to work 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only. There will be an opportunity to progress to a permanent position, once you have passed probation.
