I’Anson Bros Ltd is one of the leading animal feed manufacturers in the UK, a family-owned company with a 124-year history and a forward-looking approach to business, serving a local, national, and international customer base. The headquarters is based in Masham, North Yorkshire with production also commencing at our exciting new facility at Dalton, Thirsk.

Role Description:

Due to our continued growth we are now looking for a transport, raw material and production planner to work closely alongside our current heads of department. This is a full-time on-site role (based at Masham) and requires some weekend and on-call work. The planner will join a fast paced environment, responsible for assisting in the creation and managing of production schedules, transport logistics and coordinating raw material supplies to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.  Experience is preferred, but not essential.

Ideal Qualifications / Experience

  • Production Planning and Production Scheduling skills
  • Analytical Skills for data interpretation and process optimization
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective Planning and Communication abilities
  • Experience in supply chain management and logistics
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
