ur client is a well-established and yet still rapidly expanding Group of businesses operating within the Automotive sector.
As part of the companies continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist the business with the recruitment of a Assistant Financial Controller to join the business.
This position will work closely with the Finance Director and as a development role will be supported by the Financial Controller in the completion of the below.
This role will be based from the clients UK Head Office within Derbyshire and also afforded hybrid working
- Preparation and presentation of management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis
- Ownership of Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns
- Preparing financial analysis to support management decision making
- Collaborative cross-departmental working to inform the accuracy of accounting entries and provide business partnering
- Supporting ongoing development of internal systems and processes to become best in class
- Supporting annual audit process
- Providing reporting as required to support annual budgets and reforecasts
- Ad hoc analysis and business partnering as required
My client is offering a varied and progressive opportunity with excellent scope for ongoing career development.The position promises to provided a broad mix of exposure across Financial, Management and Commercial Accountant and will also provide support to the Finance Director in assisting with the day to day management of the team.
The successful candidate is likely to be fully qualified (ACA / ACCA) and ideally have previous experience gained operating as Financial Accountant seeking a step into a leadership position or already operating as Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
This could equally be an ideal position for a candidate working within accountancy practice seeking a first move into Industry.
In return a competitive basic salary of up to £60,000 (DOE) coupled with excellent benefits and bonus await.
