SF are currently working exclusively with a great client of ours who have an exciting role as a Financial/Management Accountant based in Matlock. This is a Part Time role working 3/4 days within a friendly working environment and has an attractive office with amazing views!

This role is open to someone who is looking for something more varied and can make this role their own or someone who might be looking for a change/more flexibility

Job duties:
- Preparation of the annual budget and regular reforecasts
- Preparation of key KPI data and liaison with the relevant department managers to enable them to maximise departmental profitability
- liason with local accounting bureau to ensure accurate and timely preparation of quarterly management accounts
- Accurate stock recording, cost management and stock reconciliations
- Continuous process improvement
- Provide holiday cover for other Finance Managers
- Financial risk management and compliance
- Preparing timely and accurate information, prioritising and working in a flexible way within the finance team
- Collate payroll information for external Payroller
- Other ad-hoc projects

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- AAT Qualified or Part/Fully CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Numerate, analytical, and efficient
- High attention to detail
- Commercial focus, questioning style
- Can do-attitude and willing to roll-up your sleeves
- Organised, professional, and proven ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
